All listening environments include two important speaker boxes that must work as one. The loudspeaker is speaker box number one, and the room where the listener is sitting is speaker box number two.
There are no cookie-cutter solutions and no software to predict the complex multi-layer effects on the sound field from shapes and materials in a listening environment. However, there are long-standing rules and habits developed through the years that must be considered when creating listening solutions and environments.
The presentation will cover the following considerations and best practices with references to real-world case studies.
