Video games are huge! That much we all know. But how does audio work in games development?What does an audio workflow look like for mobile gaming? What types of skills do you need to have to get your foot in the door at a studio?At our next meeting, we'll be talking with Brad Beaumont, Audio Director on "League of Legends" at Riot Games, and Christopher Denman, Senior Audio Designer at Disney Interactive. Our experts will give us an inside look at how the games industry works and how they've helped to develop audio for two of the biggest brands in the business.Please join us for a evening full of tips, stories, and insights into video game audio.
Christopher Denman is an experienced sound designer with a demonstrated history of working in the entertainment industry, supporting such franchises as Star Wars, Marvel, and Disney Animation. Skilled in interactive audio and implementation for games and other interactive media, including emerging tech for VR/AR and MR, Christopher is always looking for ways to enhance the user experience with audio for all the projects he leads. Christopher is currently employed by Disney Interactive in Glendale, CA and is a strong audio, arts and design professional with a Bachelors of Applied Sciences focused in Audio from Ex'pression College for Digital Arts.
